Kim Ryder aka Michelle Connor

Corrie Star Kim Ryder has said that her experience as a teenage mother helps her play her current role as Michelle Connor.

Kim just 31 years old told the Sun that “there are definitely similarities” between her real life personality and her coronation street character and including the fact that they were both teenage mothers.

Kim was just 18 when she gave birth to her son, David. Kim also had a daughter, Emily, when she was 21.
